Civil Engineer

Project: Road Project for VAMC at Battle Creek.  MI  U.S.A

Worked on a road project for Veteran Affairs Medical Center as a civil engineer.  Duties include preparing design and drawing for road project, to prepare the specification and estimate of item involved in the project.  Reviewing of existing survey plans, development of horizontal alignment, vertical profile, typical section and paving plans.

My fieldwork includes planning & monitoring the projects.  Main responsibility includes coordinate architect and structural designer to execute the projects.  Reviewing existing site condition and feasibility of project.  To prepare work force and material schedules, prepare and control construction schedules that lead too much early completion against adverse weather condition.  Oversee all construction equipments ensure maximum utilization.  Editing the drawing as per client’s requirement.

York Process House:  An industrial project

Involved in carrying out soil testing, concrete foundations fabrication and erection of steel structure, providing and installing effluent treatment plant and water purifying system.

CRB house: A corporate house

Involved in all activities from bottom to top.  Mainly responsible for

Concrete frame structure, providing utilities like sanitation, air conditioning and electrification.

Senior Engineer      

Duties include carrying out surveying for road alignment & leveling to calculate the quantity of cutting & filling of earth.  To maintain plant & machinery like hot mix plant, pavers, rollers, dumpers etc.

Selected project: Road project for Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.

Involved in setting out road alignment, taking the levels at different points to calculate the earthwork required, providing rubble soling, carpet coat and seal coat.

Senior Engineer         

Duties includes to prepare design & drawing for projects as per prevailing bylaws.  To prepare working drawings, presentation and structural drawings.  To supervise the on going projects to check the quality of material and workmanship to ensure better quality of structures.  To deal with authorities like municipal corporations & urban development authority.  To provide utilities like construction of water & sewage distribution system.  To develop the specification and bid documents.

Pile foundation for Harsha Machines Ltd:  Involved in construction of under rim piles including boring, providing steel reinforcement and casting with in situ concrete.

Shashwat complex: A high-rise residential complex.

My duties include coordinating Architect, structural designer & contractors to execute the projects.  My involvement in project is to execute the work on site as per design & drawings provided by consultants, to prepare the estimates of various construction items, to prepare the bills of quantity time and work schedule for early completion of projects.  To prepare the schedule of material required for projects.  To review the various construction activities involved in project to make it cost & time effective.
